King Creosote : Happy Never After

This track is taken from a Fence Records sampler called 'Fence Go Fishin' - Fence Sampler #2'. Released in 1999 or 2000, I can't find an exact date. The cd-r contained tracks by Lone Pigeon, King Creosote, Pip Dylan, Bummi Bako and Mundo Jazz amongst others. I bought the album direct from Fence in August 2002 via the website. Well in fact I didn't buy the album at all. What actually happened was I ordered the very first Fence sampler, Who's Afraid Of Fence? which was also released as a cd-r. The kind people at Fence generously added 8 tracks from the 2nd sampler on at the end. The e-mail I recieved confirming that my purchase(s) had been posted out that day said 'sampler #1 - plus the best of sampler #2 (now deleted) has been posted out today first class! Thankfully, the music outshines the artwork!!'. Not many record companies are that honest or generous. The honesty theme continues to this day on the website with this description of 'Fence Go Fishin'. 'The Fence sampler that time forgot. Some gems, some guff'. Brilliant stuff .
So here from Fence Go Fishin' is ... King_Creosote_-_Happy_Never_After

Kenny Anderson (King Creosote) is one of the most prolific songwriters ever. As such it would take a great amount of time, money and effort to find never mind buy everything he has released. Some of his stuff is still widely avaliable though. Try the following places for starters.
